Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials combine strategies, approaches and methods that enable individuals, families, groups, organisations and communities to play active roles in achieving, protecting and sustaining their own rights. Embodied in IEC is the process of learning that empowers people to make decisions, modify behaviours and change social conditions. The tools of spreading the IEC message can be varied-eg. books; leaflets; audio and visual materials. LKP developed all the tools of communication during the reporting period.
